SOSSEGO / How it works

A helpful first pass.

An open multilingual model reads text on this device and compares its meaning with five folder descriptions. You can change any suggestion. Short, ambiguous or unsupported files stay in Review. The score is a similarity, not a probability of correctness.

PDFs: text from the first 5 pages, up to 12,000 characters. Scanned PDFs need manual filing; there is no OCR. Other supported text files use the same character limit. Up to 6 MB per file and 40 MB per batch.

No document content is uploaded. The host receives normal app requests; Hugging Face receives model download requests. Documents remain in memory until this page is closed or the batch is cleared. Only the chosen language and model/app caches persist. Your downloaded archive contains the documents you kept and a plan with original names and hashes.

The first model download needs internet. Offline use depends on the browser retaining both the app cache and the model cache; private browsing or storage eviction can remove them.
